Zvonko Dancevic  

Co-Owner, Chief Pilot.

Zvonko Dancevic, (Zonk) Started his aviation career in 1990 with Okanagan Helicopters as an engineer, later getting his pilot’s licence and working as a pilot and engineer with Northern Mountain Helicopters, and Talon Helicopters before joining forces with Cam to form Qwest Helicopters.

Zonk has a total of 13,000 hours flying helicopters, is married with 2 children.

   
Cameron Allan  

Co-Owner, Operations Manager, President.

After  high school in 1974 he started his career as an apprentice engineer in the Yukon after which he continued his apprenticeship working for The Copter Shop, Quasar Aviation and Tundra Helicopters.

 
In 1977 with his fresh engineering license in hand he went to work for Delta Helicopters of High Level as their maintenance engineer. From there he did his flight training with Agro Copters in Springbank, Alberta.
 
His flying career got started with Buffalo Airways in Ft. Smith, NWT where he worked from 1978 until 1983 flying and maintaining several different types of helicopters and also acquiring his Flight Instructors License.
 
Laid off due to downturn in the industry Cam and Ramona moved to Vancouver where Cam worked as an engineer and Flight Instructor for North Delta Copters. With a short stint supporting heli logging operation out of Squamish he secured a job with Okanagan Helicopters which moved him and his family to Ft. Nelson, BC in January of 1985.
 
Cam ran the base in Ft. Nelson for Okanagan/Canadian Helicopters for 18 years when he left them to start Qwest Helicopters Inc. with his partner Zonk in 2002.
 
Cam has logged over 20,000 safe flight hours during his career and managed and mentored many engineers and pilots throughout his 37 year career in the helicopter industry.
 
Cam is married to wife Ramona and they have three children Michelle, Brittany and Marcus.

 

   
   

 

   
Glenn Vandersteen  

Engineer, Director of Maintenance.

Glenn Vandersteen is Qwest’s Maintenance Coordinator since 2004. A thirty year veteran, Glenn is endorsed to sign his name to a wide variety of light and medium category helicopters.

He began his career in Quebec and settled in Fort Nelson in 1988 with his wife and 3 children.

   
     
   
Mike Koloff  

Pilot, Training pilot.

Mike began his aviation career in 1990 with Nationwide Helicopters and when the company their closed their doors, Mike returned to the heavy equipment/trucking industry to support his young family.

In 2000 he fell back into the aviation business and joined Qwest when they formed in 2002.

He has been flying primarily in the Fort Nelson area since then. Mike is married, has 3 children, and has over 8000 hours total time in helicopters. 

Mike enjoys rally car racing, photography, woodworking, welding, family, friends and flying of course.
